Sets up and operates multiple stage deburring machine to
smooth edges and set (establish) width of mainspring strip:
Threads strip from feeding roll through deburring cutters to
winding roll, aliginng cutters and adjusting cutters for
specified width. Makes trial run, cuts off piece of deburred
strip, examines piece under microscope, and adjusts cutters to
correct deficiencies in operation. Adjusts and sharpens cutters
on diamond wheel, using mechanic's tools. Works to tolearnces of
0.0005 inch.
